Safety guide

Wake boat safety basics for riders and guests

Safety is a shared behavior led by the captain. Listen during the briefing, wear the required vest, keep the deck organized, and wait for explicit instructions before entering the water, approaching equipment, or moving around the boat.

Respect the propeller zone

Never enter or approach the water until the captain confirms it is safe. Follow the designated entry and pickup procedure. Do not swim toward the platform or retrieve equipment on your own when the boat is maneuvering.

Keep people and gear controlled

Store bags, boards, ropes, and loose items where the crew directs. Remain seated during acceleration and whenever requested. Observers should watch the rider without distracting the captain.

Report limitations before participation

Tell the crew about relevant medical, mobility, swimming, or fit concerns before the activity. Stay within your ability, stop when tired, and accept that the captain may restrict any activity because of conditions or behavior.
